The Foundation for Bordentown Traditions, Inc. in a 501(c)3 organization formed by members of the community in 2012 with to organize events in an effort to raise funds to bring back Bordentown's Independence Day Celebration. It was our intention for these new events to also become "Bordentown Traditions", and thus far we believe we have created  two such events The Street of Dreams Car Show and the Bordentown Turkey Trot 5K Run. These events will both be entering their fourth year.  In addition to these signature events we have held an annual night at the Trenton Thunder, organized an Art Auction in 2014 and begun an annual series of holiday ornaments with historical landmarks being represented.
With the Foundation leading the way, along with significant contributions from Bordentown Township, Bordentown City and the Bordentown business community, the Independence Day Celebration not only returned in 2013 and 2014, but planning is now underway for the 2015 event.
In addition to our efforts to provide funding for the Independence Day Celebration, the Foundation is pleased to have provided financial support to the Bordentown Township Public Works Department's Annual Wailing Woods Haunted Hayride for several years, and also assisted in planning the 2014 Tree Lighting Ceremony in Bordentown City.
We are now approaching year four of our existence, and pledge to continue with our original mission of organizing and supporting Bordentown's Community Events.
